Biography

Welcome

Randy FifeI'm Randy Fife and I've been a professional in the motion picture and television industry for over 20 years. I've been the stunt coordinator on over 250 film projects and stuntman on over 800 film projects. A few notable projects are listed on my resume. Approximately 45% of my work has been in film, 45% in television, and 10% in commercials.

Safety

My safety record is impeccable. Not one person under my supervision, stuntperson, actor, or crew, has ever had to spend one night in the hospital.

Communication

I am a straight forward communicator, people person, leader, and motivator. "I can be diplomatic (with tact) when necessary."

Flexibility

I've worked with industry professionals in all departments and of all calibers; from first timers to seasoned veterans.

I am constantly aware of time constraints, budgets and scheduling; as well as the idiosyncrasies of making films. I understand their importance as they relate to my job. I am seldom, if ever over budget.

I have worked film projects in South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mexico, and the Philippines (Twice); and in 25 states in the United States.

  • I served as co-chair on the Screen Actors Guild National Stunt and Safety Committee, and also served on the Board of Directors.

Equipment

I designed/developed, built, own and operate a full line of stunt equipment. I have extensive first-hand knowledge of stunt and safety rigging. A full listing of stunt equipment and rental rates is available upon request.

Physical Background / Skills

  • I was head cheerleader in high school, and again in college for three years. 

  • I worked for the National Cheerleading Association for two years instructing in tumbling and the use of the mini-trampoline.

  • I am an ex-State Champion Racquetball player.

  • I am an ex-State Champion Badminton player.

  • I played baseball at the college level for four years.

  • I competed in gymnastics in college for three years.
